Client: Golding Contractors
Location: Mackay, Queensland, Australia

Bonacci Infrastructure provided the temporary works design for the crane access bridge used to construct the Forgan Bridge Duplication. The access bridge was built over the top of the new bridge which was largely due to drill reach limitations. The temporary headstock system developed by Bonacci Infrastructure involved driving temporary piles through a suspended sleeve and then hanging the headstock from the installed pile.

This system meant that temporary pile cut-off levels were not critical and that the headstock also formed the gate arrangement for driving the temporary piles.
