RAAF Base Townsville

Bonacci Infrastructure provided structural design services for the RAAF Base Townsville Stage 1 works.  The scope included ten aircraft shelters, a combined vehicle and maintenance facility, a vehicle wash, a fuel tanker maintenance facility, earth covered operations and technical buildings, a Ground Support Equipment (GSE) shelter, a Fly-Away Kit (FAK) store, various acoustic shelters, substations and vehicle shelters.

The Stage 2 scope of works included a combined Mess, a physical fitness facility including 25 metre swimming pool, an air movements terminal, base entry, a dangerous goods facility, an earth covered Central Emergency Power Station (CEPS), transit accommodation, a base training facility and concept design for a base headquarters building.
