The Robina Health Precinct comprised a four storey reinforced concrete building which provided 3500 square metres of combined multi-disciplinary health facilities. These included allied health outpatients, antenatal and postnatal care, cardiac rehabilitation, child and youth mental health, chronic disease and post-acute care, family health clinics, community rehabilitation, ageing clinics and palliative and transitional care.
The building also included two rehabilitation gymnasiums and over forty consultation, meeting and treatment rooms. The civil component of the project delivered 168 car parks, service and delivery areas, transitions to the adjacent Queensland Rail rail corridor, and the application of Water Sensitive Urban Design (WSUD) principles to reduce the impacts of stormwater runoff from car park areas on downstream catchments.
