The implementation of Stages 2 and 3 of the Robina Hospital masterplan involved the creation of 179 additional beds and involved the design and construction of a four storey Southern Wing (Building H) that included new inpatient clinical services, surgical and orthopaedic wards, a rehabilitation unit, and geriatric and coronary care.
In addition, teaching facilities were provided to cater for the new Bond University Clinical Education and Research Centre, whilst a two storey building was constructed to house a new outpatient block, four new theatres and support facilities.
Bonacci Infrastructure provided all civil and structural design documentation for the expansion project, including the design of the new two storey multi-level car park which can be extended to four storeys in the future as demand increases.
